Explore the Latino community on this 2-hour interactive walking tour with a professional tour guide. Discover 24th Street, a.k.a. El Corazón de la Mission, and hear how Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera influenced this thriving arts district. Wander the Balmy Alley and marvel at the colourful street murals. You’ll also hear entertaining stories and fascinating local history as well as learn about the evolving lowrider culture.
Experience the most authentic Latin flavours at four different stops. The first food stop is Sunrise Restaurant where you’ll tuck into delicious pupusas, rice and beans and horchata. We’ll also stop at Belmar Market for zucchini flower epazote quesadillas, cactus tacos and chicharron. At Taqueria Vallarta, savour the most authentic meat tacos with chips, salsa and guacamole. End the tour on a sweet note with a selection of Mexican baked goods including pan dulce.
