Experience some of the best Tex-Mex and Southern cuisine on this 2-hour food tour through the Historic West End of Downtown Dallas.

With your professional local tour guide, you’ll cross to the other side of the tracks and discover how joining the railroads in 1873 made Dallas the centre of commerce in the Southwest.

Your first stop of this Texan food tour is Kokopelli Sweets. Serving sweet treats since 1992, delight in some colourful candy, chocolate, a piece of pie or gelato before heading to Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse for some quality Texan dishes.

Savour tacos, enchiladas, carnitas and more at RJ Mexican Cuisine known for its imaginative twist on traditional dishes. You’ll also tuck into some deep-fried grits mixed with different flavours at Ellen’s.

Our unique pay-as-you-go model lets you enjoy more of what you want for less money, a better value than comparable food tours. Simply hand the guide $35 cash on your arrival, and they’ll take care of the rest. They’ll pay for the entire group at each of our four stops, minimizing wait time. Paying cash also makes it easy for each restaurant to offer more food so you’re guaranteed larger servings.

Guests should arrive 15 minutes before the tour start time. Your guide will be wearing an orange hat and/or a blue shirt that says ‘Experience First’.
This tour covers around half a mile of walking as your guide shares details of Dallas’ history and culture between food stops.
This tour is NOT accessible for wheelchairs.
