Pearl District Food and History Tour

Explore flavours, stories and history on this 2-hour walking food tour of the Pearl. Located a few miles from downtown San Antonio, the Pearl is home to unique shops and restaurants built in and surrounded by the original brewery structures of the 1800s.

Stroll along the San Antonio River Walk admiring the scenery and learning about the river’s role in the city’s food and beer scene. You’ll also see Engine No.2, a 1907 yellow train car that was part of San Antonio’s one-mile electrified rail system and learn how it served the local brewery industry.

Delight in one of San Antonio’s best Mexican street food spots, La Gloria and end the tour on a sweet not at Lick Honest Ice Creams. Enjoy some classic and adventurous ice cream flavours such as goat cheese, thyme, and lemon lavender.
